The digestive system
The Digestive System helps us to get nutrients from the food.
These are the steps of the Digestion Process:

Our teeth break the food into small pieces.

The tongue mixes the small pieces of food with saliva.

The chewed food goes down the esophagus.

Food mixes with gastric juices in the stomach.

Nutrients pass into the blood in the small intestine

Undigested food goes to the large intestine.

Waste products go out through the anus.
