Man-made. For example: cars, clothes and buildings.
Life processes of Living things
All living things have three life processes:
Nutrition, Interaction and Reproduction
Nutrition
All living things get nutrients for energy and to grow
-
PEOPLE need a balanced diet (animals and plants).
We cook our food.
-
ANIMALS eat other living things (animals and plants)
-
PLANTS make their own food using the sunlight, water and nutrients from the soil.
Interaction
All living things react to their environment to survive
-
PEOPLE communicate by talking, writing and touching.
We also invent machines to make life easier.
-
ANIMALS move around to find food and shelter.
Some animals swim, fly or walk/run.

They make sounds and movements to communicate.

They sometimes live in groups for protection.

-
PLANTS can’t move around.

They grow towards the light, and their roots grow toward the water.
Reproduction
All living things make new living things
-
PEOPLE have babies.
We are born from our mother's womb after 9 MONTHS!
-
ANIMALS. Some animals are born from eggs.
Other animals are born from their mummies.
-
PLANTS. Most plants reproduce by seeds.
Others make a new plant from their parts.
